The Base Launches New Website

The Base dropin centre has launched a new website, www.baselambeg.com . The site was designed over the summer months by the young people who attend the centre.

'This website has been designed by young people, for young people.' - John Blair

In addition to many pictures of all of The Base events, there  are games and  a forum where base members can air their views. Each member of the site has their own page where they describe themselves and their interests.

Outreach coordinator for The Base, John Blair says, "This website will be a place where young people can get information about a whole variety of topics, ranging from drugs and alcohol to what rights they have as young people.

"This website has been designed by young people, for young people."

The website will be updated regularly over the next few months, so please visit www.baselambeg.com to keep up to with all the news from The Base.
