Ordination of New Elders

The service was conducted by Rev Keith Duddy, B.A., B.D. Moderator of the Presbytery of Dromore. The choir, under the leadership of Rev Karen Campbell set the tone with the introit ‘Holy Holy’. Rev Harold Gray, B.A., B.D., senior minister read from Corinthians, 12 and the ‘Scriptural Warrant’ was given by Rev. Dr. Bert Tosh, B.Sc.,  B.D..

The anthem 'Blessed is the Man' preceded Rev David Knox, B.A.,  B.D. who, as acting clerk delivered the Rule of Faith.

Following questions to the elders elect and subscription to the Westminster Confession of Faith, there were prayers of ordination and installation and the right hand of fellowship. The charge to the new elders and the congregation was given by Rev. John Brackenridge, B.A., B.D..  The service was followed by supper and a reception for the new elders.
 
Services now available on CD

Barry in Indonesia - Update February 2008

article thumbnail As I write this I’m just realising how long it’s been since our last letter, especially when I remember our second daughter Gisell is now ten months old. Gisell was born in Kupang on the 11th March 2007 and Rebecca is so pleased to have a little sister.  Mum and Dad of course are every bit as pleased and thankful to God for a safe delivery and healthy mum and baby.
