Ministers and Officeholders

 Minister

Rev. David B Knox, B.A., B.D

David Knox grew up in Bangor, worked as an Assistant Minister in Belfast and was minister of Downpatrick from 1981 before coming to Harmony Hill in 1992. He believes that a biblical church should be both evangelical and ecumenical. David is married to Heather and they have two grown-up sons, Paul and Mark.

 Assistant Minister

Rev. Clarke Deering

Before entering studies for the ministry Clarke was a successful farmer in County Fermanagh. So it is no surprise that Clarke, Hazel and their four children enjoy the countryside around Drumbeg where they now live. Dad and Conor have space to play football, Hazel and Bonnie (collie) have the towpath for walks, while the Uni students  Rachel, Stewart and Roger have peace and quiet when they need an escape from studies.

Senior Minister

The Rev. W Harold Gray,
B.A., B.D (Minister 1976-1991)

After ministries in Newmills and Carland, in Co. Tyrone, and Woodvale in Belfast, Harold became minister here in 1976 and retired in 1991.

 Session Clerk

Mr. Derek Alexander

A County Tyrone man, Derek was a Civil Servant before retiring to become a writer of books!

 Treasurer

Mr. Walter Carruthers

An erstwhile businessman and hockey player, Walter brings a shrewd approach to the management of the financial affairs of the church.

 Secretary to the Church Committee

Mr. Nigel Wilson

Chartered engineer Nigel accurately records the proceedings of the Church Committee. Much to the consternation of his wife and daughters, Nigel enjoys listening to ChristianRock.net radio blasting out loud rock music whilst he types the minutes.
